Love the outdoors,  but tired of staying on the trails?  Looking for a new,  affordable way to enjoy nature?  Want to raise your self-confidence and your ability to explore off trail without getting lost?  Orienteering uses only a compass and a map to find markers scattered throughout an unfamiliar area,  basically geocaching without the GPS unit.  This is treasure hunting for non-pirates.  The scavenger-hunt arrangement makes orienteering a perfect activity for a family trying to teach their kids about nature.  This class is not only fun,  however,  but gives you the skills and knowledge to be safe when outside,  knowing how to navigate and find your way through the wilderness can save your life.

My brother and I booked Josh’s Bastrop Wildfire tour this October.  He was able to present this devastation to his community and the surrounding environment in a way that was personal,  instructive,  and sensitive.  It was an entirely sincere experience from a sincere individual,  and that’s why I would recommend any of Josh’s activities.
