Having connected with Ryan through a youtube video he posted, he was the first person to give me a guided tour of a very tricky and confusing mountain biking location. From the first ride, I could tell he was beyond knowledgable about biking, always aware of my ability, encouraging me, but not pushing me beyond my limits. From the first ride about 3 years ago, Ryan has become a good friend that always makes a ride more interesting and exciting. His great stories, abilitiy to converse about anything and overall positive attitude about life will make him a great guide for your next adventure!
I am an avid traveler who loves exploring new cultures and going to places most people leave off their short list. In my free time I spend as much time asI can on my mountain bike or skis depending on the season. I’ve have biked on numerous continents, broken multiple bones, and enjoys the chutes of Utah back-country skiing each year. When traveling, I don’t like to plan too far ahead and prefers to shoot from the hip, which doesn’t always make it enjoyable, but always makes for a good story and an even better adventure.

Having ridden with Ryan on a number of mountain bike excursions, he is very considerate of a rider’s ability and tailors the ride to your likes and strengths while encouraging you to try things you didn’t think were possible, offering tips and shout out’s as you traverse some of the best rides in the state. The fact that he’s an extremely competent bike mechanic helps the flow as you encounter the inevitable flat tire or derailer issue. Above and beyond all that, Ryan’s a hell of a nice guy who’s eager to engage in conversation about almost any topic and will make sure your experience is positive in every way.
Ryan and I have been mountain biking together for years. Ryan has always been the leader of the group finding the best trails. He has been very helpful in helping outfit my bike with the best components for my money.
