Merriam is an expert in outdoor adventures and cultural offerings in and around Kansas City. Since moving to the Midwest in 2003, she has become more familiar with Kansas City and surrounding adventures than many native Kansas Citians. So if you’re visiting the area or just looking for something new to do in your own hometown, she’s your guide!

When Merriam and her dog Pookie aren’t out adventuring, she is teaching English (ESL) to international students at a local university, coaching swimming, and remodeling her house.
